This is also why “working on a way for it” sounds really really sketchy and like they got something actually bad in mind.
Because just putting them on a vendor for a couple of copper at the starting zones & or exile’s reach would be so easy, obvious and quick that it would have already been done.

Patch 9.2 ends with the fall of Danusermud, leading the way for WoW 2: Legends of Sylvanas.
They’ll excise Greenskins from the lore but keep Blackbloods.
They replaced the instances of that slur to phrases like greenhide or barbarian / other similar negative terms and maintained NPCs named Greenskin where the term wasn’t used as a slur against orcs
it’s almost like if the problem is warhammer trademark and not the ess jay dubs censoring their slurs 
since they made up a new slur to replace it

“Greenskin” isn’t even trademarked in the UK or the US, though - you can publicly search who owns what trademarks

COPYRIGHT ALERT ? Doesn’t the timing - greenskin being removed while Blizzard’s crusade of corrections is on-going full-throttle - make you think that it’s part of those morally motivated corrections?

GW’s never really gone after anyone for using ‘Greenskin’ and they don’t have it trademarked, it is not the bad Warhammer/GW boogeyman in the slightest, bigger reach to claim it is than Halo Reach tbh (and that was a hugely good game!!)
I’m not at all the type to refer to anyone as SJWs but it is absolutely not Games Workshop/Warhammer in the slightest and the suggestion alone is pretty ridiculous

Personally I think Blizzard is removing skinbased specie… racism because they’re deadly afraid smoothbrains will make the comparison to RL skinbased racism.
I will bet you a hundred bucks that they removed it because a handful of devs thought it sounded too close to redskin.

With the release date being so soon there isn’t much time to really push much else into the patch, but hopefully we can see some more stuff in smaller patches rather than having to wait almost half a year (or more) for another one.
Quality of life changes and little additions here and there.
Also to throw it out there again, if you’d be so kind feel free to help make some noise about getting some much requested rp features or add your own ideas to the list, the more the merrier!
Looks like they absolutely have got nothing worthwhile to announce that would warrant Blizzconline. They’ll still announce, but on a scaled down level.
