since today when logging out retrieving character list takes a minute or more
I have the same issue. Also, whole UI is laggy and very slow. It’s so frustrating…

Same issue here. All zones are buggy and retrieving characters takes ages.

seems like Blizzard have some issues within their infrastructure currently.
i am on silvermoon and in the NL so both could be my issue xD and my ping is indeed fine 8ms/7ms

I actually think the Silvermoon issue (which affects even more Realms and probably is a EU wide issue) is a byproduct caused by the Node in the NL.
And with more Players active (finally Weekend 
) it’s cascading into all Zones and the Realmlist.
I’ve now got lags in Nazjatar.
It’s just a matter of hours until the Login could be affected too.
I have the same issues with the “Retrieving character list” but for me it seems to be endless. I’m currently stuck on it and cannot even get into the game.

Again, small indie company can’t handle lags for third day in row.
Finally I find people with the same experience, I tought it was only me. Do you also have problems with laggy overall interface? For example, if you use LFG and search for a key it takes like 5 seconds to load, same with applying.
ye interface lag for some stuff pet battle take a while to start same as starting a summon but stuff like regular combat is 100% fine
everything feels laggy lately, UI, new zone, looting, character list… dammit Blizz…

Just started to experience this issue as well. Wrote to guild Discord and one of them linked me to this post right here. Didnt experience issues with “Retrieving character list” before, but it started right now, out of nowhere. Game itself has been laggy.

started without issues today but now it back again
+1 on Silvermoon, almost unplayable with this lag.
It’s even worse than yesterday in my game. Just give me free character transfer if you cant fix it Blizz… -__-

Same problem occured again, alongside DC’s.

Seems like a massive Silvermoon Problem (again(!!), we had the same thing happend in 08/2024 but there it got fixed within a Day, we are now into the 4th Day currently with no fix/more Blueposts in sight) at this point.
I’ve got Alts on Tarren Mill (2nd biggest Horde Realm) as well as Blackrock (semi Big), Antonidas (medium big) and Thrall (semi big) and all of the Realms work as usual.
Looting an Enemy/Talking to an NPC is super fast there, but takes ages on Silvermoon.
I really hope they fix the Realm until S2 Launch or it will be a desaster.
