Anyway, Blizzard really screwed things up with the whole ā€œEraā€/perishable-ā€œBCā€/temporary-cloning fiasco.
Stop hoping. Organize elsewhere, play elsewhere.

They just deserve their player losses again.

Blizzard DID respond, and they said clones was deleted.

If you want a response open a ticket and ask. I did and got quoted the support article.

+1 to them enabling clones again, as someone that took a break from WoW I had no idea that the cloning service was stopping and itā€™s completely unfair that our characters were deleted without so much as an email informing us.

Your character was not deleted, itā€™s on wrath, the place it should be if you didnā€™t choose.

I do agree about the email though, there was only a blog and some forum posts saying the service was being ended.

I mean the copy of my character on the era servers was deleted, the one we could have paid for to enable before they removed the service.

So maybe you should not have taken a two year break? I mean, thatā€™s a freaking long time to be away from a game, and expect nothing happend with your chars in an evolving game.

I donā€™t think it was 2 years but you have a fair point, however Iā€™d at least expect to be emailed about any changes to my character. Iā€™m just really gutted :frowning:
