Do us a favour, and for your next example, try it out for yourself.

I apologize for bothering you. Clearly you are incredibly busy and you just don’t have the time to quote your own proof. It’s ok.

I am not that busy, not trying 2 steps out for myself though.
You seem to be more busy

Yeah, I thought I’d run and check since I was in UC anyway. Every player that flew past with some kind of aura or buff showed up in the combat log (from Shadowform to Warchief’s Blessing).

That range is much much smaller than Spy shows.

Yeah hes busy all right.

Tomorrow he will be doing this exact thing, bet you 50gold

combatlog/Spy can extend upto max 200 yards.

Target nearest enemy cannot.

true

No don’t worry about it. I don’t like quoting my imaginary posts either.

Oh hi mr lazy!

Now I’m actually confused. Am I an imaginary post?

Aren’t we all?

How exactly would it do that?
Go on. Explain.
It’s literally just combatlog, it can’t ‘scan npc’s’ in any other way.

It’s true. We are both just too lazy. You are too lazy to quote your imaginary proof and I am too lazy to go log events when I can just ask someone who actually knows, which clearly wasn’t you.

Anyway I accept it is possible with advanced combat logging and perhaps etrace, however etrace does not show names, I still firmly believe that Spy is an addon that has no place in WoW, and should be banned. How it is banned is up to Blizzard to work out, not for us to have another pointless argument about how it’s connected to the Combat log so would break other things. Blizzard can ban an addon quite easily.

I allrdy proved some logs for some ppl.
He was up to help you out, and do some easy steps for you.

No way I would have done that for you, when I basicly allready gave the answer during the thread. Esp with a tutorial how to check for yourself.

“durr explain”

No surprise you have no ability to discuss.

Edit: Lol this paladin really lives in his own world

But how can we remove it? I agree in some extend, yea it has lame attributes.

So… how…? Without breaking warcraftlogs or Details.
