So you felt the need to make yet another thread about how Pservers screwed everyones mind about how Vanilla used to be.
Great, spot on.

I think he was a friend with the GM from the guild, because he’s pretty bad as a player …
…oh wait! The norm in that time and age? No … it can’t be!!
Also: Mortal Strike has a huge uptime.
No food buff to be seen either. And there’s a mind flay debuff at the end, so there was an unused shadow priest somewhere, too. Except that it didn’t put the Shadow Weaving debuff onto the target in spite of multiple free spots. Which means the Shadow Priest didn’t even have Shadow Weaving.
I agree, I clearly remember sapping targets marked with x in 2005. The people claiming that we were all mouth-breathing keyboard-turning retards need to speak for themselves alone.
Yes this video is linked everytime this subject is discussed. Apparently one video from one player perspective two months after game launch is representative to how every player throughout the entire lifetime of Vanilla was playing.
To be fair, Scarlet Monastery has always been easy. Always. The only thing that can possibly kill your group is a bad pull, and getting swamped. It’s a training dungeon designed for levelling, intended to get people used to playing their chosen classes and together as a team. Dungeons are way harder at max level.
If you have other videos showing a different story, you’re free to post them, you know^^ I wonder why the “Classic is nerfed” crowd feels like they NEVER have to post evidence for their claims.
There are changes that make Classic objectively easier than Vanilla was at this stage of progression. Items are just better in their 1.12 state and so are talents. Also 16 debuff slots is a clear buff to players over 8. There really is no need to argue over nerfs to the bosses or post videos. Classic is just undeniably easier based on the facts alone.
it’s not nerfed, you asked for classic, you got classic.
Funny that you remember using a feature of the game in 2005 when it wasn’t added until 2006.
It felt good tanking Herod as a shaman pre-40. However, after I hit 40 he stopped being anything of a challenge.
I think most of the points have already been covered.
Probably a combination of higher skilled players, tons of meta tactic content online, raids that are mechanically far less complex than retail and Classic being based on a late patch.
If the patch version has anything to do with it we should see a sharp difficulty increase for Naxx.
Shadow Weaving was added in 1.7 as talent so in ZG patch if i remember correct

I checked the talent calculator for 1.1 on its availability just in case. If there actually is an error, I blame it on the guy who made it.
