Yes but because of titanforging dungeons are actually giving higher pieces than mythic. Nobody is farming Mythic raid, while thousands of players can spam +10’s and higher. So people get a lot more loot from dungeons, so
they get more chances on titanforging on dungeonloot.

Firstly, Blizzard has stated that their internal data shows that there is a huge overlap between those who raid and those who run Mythic+. In other words, players who only run Mythic+ while occasionally raiding are very niche. The idea that Mythic+ is discouraging raiding is a myth.

Secondly, to address the inevitable “but 415 gear” argument, gear is more than just an item level. Your best items are probably not going to come from Mythic+. Your best or most optimal items are probably going to come from the Dazar’alor raid, as it does not share loot tables with Mythic+. Mythic+ dungeons have loot tables that rarely change if ever in an expansion. Additionally, Mythic+ does not drop Azerite gear. Instead, you have to work for that gear over possibly multiple weeks through Titan Residuum that you get from the end-of-week chest. That gear is expensive.

Thirdly, while this is minor, Mythic+ does not drop Breath of Bowansamdi, which is a requirement for advanced crafting recipes.

I know folks want to pit the blame for raid burnout on Mythic+, and also might ignorantly see the “415” item level and think that is unfair, but the reality is that raid burnout is a symptom of a different problem altogether.

There is also another matter regarding TF. I won’t call myself an m+ spammer or anything but I pretty much do them every day around 4-5 dungs in average. And in average I get a worthwhile TF(Getting a 415 while doing +10s and above. I don’t consider a WF +5 “worthwhile” :D) around once in 2-3 weeks…in average.

So where do people suddenly get the idea that if you spam 0-+5s you will get an average gear ilevel 415 in a matter of days? Are they really THAT lucky? And if a person indeed gets an TF 415 item once a month…its already an catastrophe for some?

they lie to portrait mythic + badly because they feel threatend because after 13 years of supremacy when mythic + arrived people felt in love with them on first sight

and with how popular MDI are they feel even worse because raiding was never this popular in past.

It allows me as a more casual player to reach heights I would not be able to otherwise.

Only there is no point to that height because you didn’t gain that Gear through trial by fire so it Will not open up other content for you and in the open world everything scales anyway

That means that there is no functional upgrade for casual players even if this feels that way while at the same time compromising the entire Gear reward system of the whole game

Its one thing to like titanforging, its another to be blind to what it has done with the game, hell we worked gearscore into the game through ilvl because there was no way around it and the moment we started getting Gear we have no business of having rio appeared because ilvl doesn’t say anything about skill anymore

Its either reeling it back in or create an ingame ever present all deciding rio score that will determine access to random content Just like ilvl does now

Why not make it so it cant go above current tier heroic raiding gear?

That would solve nothing because outside of titanforging hc raid Gear is already accessible (which is also a big downer to the game)

Whats wrong with a +5 or +10 bonus? This would simply mean one difficulty bracket cannot outlevel another difficulty bracket which is very reasonable ESP when its unlockable with extra VP as the OP suggests

Interest in higher power boosts then +10 can only be interpreted by me as greedy

I was refering to adressing issues parts of the community have in general that they find irreconcilable, they keep repeating their issues or lose interest entirely and leave the game, this was less clear I admit

But you do not know what you could compensate for. Without this system, some players would have their maximum gear after 5 weeks and thus have nothing left to do. Which I found via

I did a lot of mythic + in Legion, hoped they came with something else in BfA cause at the end I was sick and tired to run. I’m still. I know that I’m not the only one. So, people ?

Mythic + proves nothing, but I agree on the 10 men raiding given the community poor state of mind, partly resulting of this endless run.

If I wanted to play Diablo, I would play Diablo.

Let’s look at Jaina Proudmoore. It is infinitely more difficult on Mythic than it is on Heroic, yet, with a spice of luck, I can obtain the same gear as the players who put in 1000x more effort than I.
