You’re not waiting now for the respawn, it’s just getting the tag that’s the problem.

Read through the thread, and my responses, I am replying to the OP stating that he has to wait to kill a named mob, I replied stating that the respawn times are the same now as when it was originally released.

The population density is much higher. If the respawn rates are the same, then the average wait time is proportionally higher…
Well I didn’t wait for hours, I waited maybe 10 mins to kill the scorpion mob, I spoke to other players, asked them to group up, and there ya go, exactly as I remember it from when first released, same as for the Mob in the cave with the Burning Blade medallion.

It took us 2 hours to complete the northwatch quests, so yeah, it is several hours wait to kill mobs. On vanilla launch I was the same level as now, in far less time played than this even though I had no idea what I was doing.
Well then I feel sorry for you, as I have not experienced anything like that,

Maybe you’re playing on a lower populated server / faction / area than me and Elahri, in that case we’re comparing apples with oranges.
I too have many instances where I’ve had to wait for mobs to respawn up to 10 times to manage to get a tag (in a group).
EDIT: oh, just read your reply 
Aren’t people on your server forming an orderly queue to the named mobs and killing them in groups of five?

Believe what you want, I don’t have to justify myself to you in any way, shape or form, It was as I said, I don’t have to lie, I know what I experienced, if you don’t respect that, then that is your problem, not mine.
I wish… some attempts at queueing have been made, but failed miserably.
