I’m talking about AV not WSG.

I have nothing more to say besides: While de-facto 40 man (aprox) premades were possible via Discord, AV quality was 100 times today’s standard.

Having games without mass afkers, bots, lvl 50’s questing, 60% mounts, etc was a dream. A dream that is over.

The fact we (as casual, minute-made premades) would run against a tryhard premade once in a while (and lose after a good fight) was not a mood-killer, on the contrary.

Both those, and even the players that mount up and leave the cave and get to Balinda just to do f*ck all and split up and avoid clashes. For the majority of Av’s that I queue, even the active players get to Balinda and go headless chicken mode from there, split up and don’t fight the horde blob properly and then obviously we start getting picked one by one. It seems the alliance cannot just wipe the horde blob and advance as a unit, that is also a performance issue, or lack of as players will just avoid that clash. We need to win clashes and wipe the horde blobs but we won’t be able to do that until players start performing, aka actually engaging in pvp combat rather then trying to ride their mounts in groups of 4 each in separate directions. I mean I know there’s 70+ ongoing AV’s when I queue and I can’t tell what’s happening in the other AV’s but this is what happens on the ones I join. It resumes down to players avoiding fights and splitting and then just feeding.

May be its becouse of alliance pvp disadvantages, ppl dont want to get instantly feared, stunned and killed one by one and afraid to engage blob vs blob, because they know their abilities isn’t working against horde.
So alliance players have to work around direct clashes there they must twice outgear and outskill horde to defeat unfearable unstunnable zerg with oneshotting everything elemental shamans.

Well, that is your personal view and racial crusade and I don’t buy into that, if that was the case then the alliance would also get stomped in WSG where they actually fight and don’t turn their backs and run away. If people don’t want to perform in AV, aka engage and fight, then might as well just stop queueing at all, rather then queueing and constantly keep waiting for miracles. The problem is AV is a BG that just suits slackers, the alliance doesn’t slack in WSG and they perform well and have a good win ratio, unfortunately the alliance slacks hard in AV as the BG just suits slacking, however I’m guessing there is simply much less slack horde side and they actually fight, unlike us, which naturally comes from the fact that instant queues vs long queues will motivate different behaviours from both factions.

Real problem is reputation rewards from AV, it forces people to queue even if they are not pvp fans or even hates it

Alliance is wiining games, last weekend I entered in 22 AV and won 8, isn’t great but is not the 99% loss myth. I imagine tha if map design was fair we could win more games.

Lmao for some one having so much insight on AV you missed the point where Horde is literally at Balinda at the same time as Alliance, my question is can you be any more biased than you are now?

Change the honor system from a farming situation to a winning situation.

We cannot discuss PvP when farmers are still part of it.

Why is that an advantage? How exactly, fighting near opponent’s GY, favors Horde?
I see a real issue (maybe) only with Horde players ressing in cave instead of FW GY when they die near IB GY. Maybe Blizzard should make Allies, resurrect in their cave, when they die near SH GY.
I am not even sure about that. Just empirically, Horde most of the times retake IB GY, wiping slowly (if its a big group) Allies defending IB GY. But then again, I don’t see them being reinforced. Either because of not realising how important is to keep IB, or because Allies at SH, are constantly killed by Horde pushing north.

Agree 100%. Last game we won, Alliance got more bonus honor than we got. For a lot of people (Horde also has them), honor is more important than winning. I don’t even know, why they are playing this game. Maybe they are PvE realm players and play a different game, named "…craft”.

Why is meeting outside an opponents GY (where they can resurrect and fight you again), an advantage for Horde?

I’m exalted with Siverwing Sentinels, and never got a premade to back me up, so it was only pug’s, my win ratio was below 20% and took me over 2 months and hundreds of games. Do you know what Premade Horde teams full of warlords would scream? GO BACK TO RETAIL!

They hand out 7 day bans, surely that’s a proper punishment?

If they do it consistently then it’s a very good approach.
