They only make changes to the game when horde suffers, blizzard dont give crap!
Does it even matter that the Alliance loose all the itme in AV? Considering that youāre competing with your own faction when it comes to ranks and not the Horde.
That being said, I think itās an issue as it stands. Maybe they could bring back the pre-nerf alliance version of AV every mounth or so to make it fair and still authetic vanilla-experience?
Sorry but can someone explain why Alliance being unable to win means itās ruined? Seems like a good thing from my perspective
Heads up, Alterac Valley map updates for the alliance side just hit the classic PTR 1 hour ago.
It appears blizzard is listening.
1 hour ques are not a good thing, AB/WSG being full of premades 9/10 games is not a good thing casual players having no entry into PVP is not a good thing.
the 1 hour queue you can blame your self for. you prolong the game for no reason other than to prolong the game. games should be done and over in 20mins or less. but you insist on making them last an hour. 45mins is the very minimum you keep it at.
Very true, when av came out games were about 10-15min each. Hord had 15-20min wait times. Now games are 60m+ now horde has 60m+ wait times.
So your next opponents are still stuck in the previous game that is already going on for 1 hour, and your game can only start when they are done with their previous game.
issa joke m8
Nope.
Alliance as a minor faction has to coordinate alot and THIS is what makes alliance pugs much weaker. All decent alliance PVP players are being washed away premading AB and WSG, while larger Horde faction is lazy, tends to PUG and thereby is more EVEN overall. This leaves alot of good pvp players for AV, and long queues motivate them to put maximum effort in every AV.
Lies. Every AV i participated last month lasted less then 30 mins. We didnāt even called to stop and wait for ā30 min honor buffā since that made a 5+ min delay and we would lose more honor with alliance massively capping towers at south.
Poor horde, canāt steal hut flag now, jumping from waterfallā¦
Because Alliance players are leaving PVP because they see it as unfair they canāt win and in AV I can see that point with the Back Door and other Horde advantages and I play Horde as well and that will just in time push the horde wait times to be longer,ā¦ I on my Alliance char will rank up one more level and stop PVPāing and I know many Alliance leaving PVP and just not bothering anymore so Horde wait times will increase which I am sure on my Horde Char I will not be happy with the wait times but I can see why its happening.
Just start fightning over SFGY and dont let it free for horde, yes it will lead to longer AVs and less honor and its not as cool as IBGY but it makes you fight for win
The problem is AV is for the Horde especially the back door into Alliance base the main plan of attack is get HS GY go across the fields for the back door as many as can often 20 strong to the back door take the base that way and win get the Base FG and GY started on the General as more turn up also taken DB North and South and killed boss all before the Alliance know whatās hit themā¦ I play both horde and Alliance so see both sides,ā¦ A fair battle would be no back door and a fight over the bridgeā¦ But if Blizz dont change things then we on Horde will use whats there to win
From the PTR patch info SO HORDE defend this AV is bais to your side and Blizz even know it you even have Rep gains to your advantageā¦
Reputation inconsistencies between Alliance and Horde
- Alliance now always receive Reputation and Honor for defeating Captain Galvangar, regardless of whether Captain Balinda Stonehearth is alive.
- Developersā notes: This now correctly mirrors the Horde behavior, which grants them Reputation and Honor for defeating Captain Balinda Stonehearth, regardless of Galvangarās status.
- Alliance Druids can no longer have their actions disrupted by talking to them.
- Developersā notes: This now correctly mirrors the behavior of the Horde Elementalists, who were already just as steadfast in executing their intended actions.
No , alliance dont need premades to win, you need 100% effort from the team to win and overcome the map advantage and you cant do that on pugs because there a big percent of the team that are usually botting / slacking and the only way to avoid such team is to do premades. The only way rankers farm honor in wsg and AB efficiently is premades . The only reason premade is an " Option " is to avoid these slackers / botters in pugs.
Not to mention . We get to have great leaders leading the game , we dominated horde a most of those games , the map was blue even the scoreboards and silently horde backdoored the jump at aid gy and ended the game in a win for thier favour .
Because thatās exactly what I saidā¦?
I played alliance in AV myself and all you get told is āStop turtling, just lose fastā
Soā¦ yesā¦ alliance are going to lose a lot XD
Problem with this is the starting position, Horde arrives at Snowfall in the same time it takes Alliance to reach Stonehearth. So Horde already have forces at SF before Alliance is anywhere near it.
Ofcourse because whats the point in winning a game that takes 1 hour more or less from turteling and the result you get 5k honor approx , when in that 1 hour you get to farm 15 or 12k honor per hour from other bgs ? Either we get ibgy early and progress from there ( which rarely happens without leader because cave spawn is close to that gy ) , or try hard and win the game with a long one hour or two hour turtle and get De-ranked because you didnt farm enough HpH ( No one wants that and its the reason why people say let them end ).
If you think that is a defeatist attitude its not , its because people dont want to lose honor for a 2hour or 1 hour game
