why should i be stupid? i dont/havent played any pserver. did i miss something?
In that case I strongly advise you to research where your guild is coming from and to leave in case it’s the same guild from the Dragonblight private server.
As for the topic - ganking is toxic by definition. Killing someone who cannot retaliate is toxic, just like how bullying is toxic. Ganking lowbies and bullying are basically the same thing, only one happens IRL and the other happens in-game.

There is never a 100% fair fight on a PvP server. Somebody is always having a higher or lower level, more or fewer buffs, the better or worse spec and so on. As such, PvP servers are not about fair fights. You kill whenever you can, and you expect to get killed all the same.
But we can agree that the PvP fights where the guy who statistically has the dissadvantage wins are the best to watch.
This is why Vurtne was cool and why Dainaik was also cool

yes they are from pserver. but so far they are behaving completly normal.
But to compare it to bullying it has to be some hardcore ganking for hours and different to RL you can just go afk for 5min or change zone/layer.
People here already use the term ganking when you kill them once.
My rule is red=dead but i wont wait for them to release or something nor will i go off my path to chase some low lvl. its their choice to run straight into me
But when a lvl20 takes the same boat in BB he just has to count with beeing mindcontrolled =) its fun not toxic and he had the choice to wait for a later boat or go the risk its a PVP server afterall. Everyone knew what will be going on there.
And if someone is really ganking your corpse: call help, go afk, change layer/zone, gy rezz

I make it a point to only punish lowbies that attack me or gank my lowbie doods, otherwise I just walk by when I could easily smack em to death.
Horde do not give the same courtesy to me that’s for sure lmao.
It’s funny tho, I only ever get attacked in pvp while outlevelled or outnumbered heavily, hmmmmm thinking.
Here is the truth why.
They don’t know to run in los trought pillars so they stuck at 1k rating in arena, they went on pirate server but they went stuck at rank 4-5, they try to go big d in duels outside of SW, ORG but they loose to players 5-6 levels lower then them.
And with the realization that they are bad at the minigame they have to remove their frustration on players at least 20 levels lower than them.

In the past when I was in PvP servers during TBC-Wrath what I hated was not as much the enemy faction as much as my own faction for not caring to help their own and letting the enemy faction have its way with me multiple times.
I think that players who look the other way to the pleas of help of their fellow same faction players and instead are not interupting their PvEing to help are playing PvP servers wrong

You forgot too mention this only works only lower levels then yourself, otherwise you would get slaughtered

That’s kinda counter-productive though on a server without CRZ - if someone ganks me while I’m levelling they get added to VanasKoS. If I get a notification they’re nearby at a later date I’ll camp them into the ground, I’m sure others have the same policy as well.
By ganking others because you were ganked, you’re just opening yourself up to get ganked even more by people who would have /waved as you ran past.

Been ganked plenty of times (both while leveling and by being drastically outnumbered). Personally never ganked another player, not even on my way to Grand Marshal.
Never had any feeling of satisfaction in an unfair fight, it’s like playing a game on the easiest mode and getting excited when you beat it.
If other people get their kicks from it, so be it. I feel no frustration or anger, just pity.

Sometimes i was ganked and i ganked. It happenz…
But the funniest thing it was when ages ages ages ago a rogue sapped me for 1 hour. 1 fckin hour.
It was really inteersting. And i stopped try to fly away just to check the end of that.
After 1 hour he\she was probably called for a raid (we were near Onyxia lair… so he\she simply disappeared.
I never know his\her name but he has my deepest respect. “Remember… Patience … Discipline”
I used to leave alliance be till a let a gnome walk past me happily then 20 yards past me he decides to sheep me then kill me… I could of killed him easy if i opened first but no he decides to be sneaky and we both pass eachother then he attacks me after ive ran 20 yards past.
So my mindset now is just attack everyone… if i see you and youre level 3… youre getting killed idc anymore

I usually don’t gank lowbies. Alliance is generally more honourable than that. But seeing how every zone is overpopulated with horde and me always being ganked by 3-5 hordes on all quests in all contested zones, and whenever a ?? horde runs past me he ganks me, I’ve now started to repay the favour because I’ve come to realise that if you’re horde you do not care about honour or fairness so I just gank everything I see now.
Gankers gank because they enjoy the thrill of challenge! The excitement it brings!
They do it less against equal level players, because oh my god, there are 2 lv 60 Allies around lights hope chapel!!! Anyone wanna group up?
EDIT: I dont do ganking. But I tend to bless lowbies with Hex of weakness.
