Why the level 58 boost is bad for the game #stoptheboost

The reason i never used a boost (by another player) is because it’s super boring. I dont want to stand around afk for days while someone is pulling and bombing 300 mobs. This whole process of getting boosting is just too retarded - i want to play the game myself. Boosting someone else is even more fun than getting boosted because you actually play the game in some way and make gold on top of it…

I am sure i am nothing special so there must be plenty of other people who got discouraged to use a boost in classic wow the same way like me.
The instant boost to 58 by Blizzard seems super convenient so i can guarantee it that most players will get it. UNLESS THEY MAKE IT VERY EXPENSIVE.

I like retail cash shop, just the mounts tho, everything else don’t care

well there’s our problem. You like retail features so you want them in classic despite the fact that the 2 products are supposed to appeal to 2 different audiences

So why dont you stay in retail where the shop is and leave classic TBC for people that actually want the game how it was?

They’ll probably price it the same as retail’s boost.

Which is more or less depending on the country you live…
For me that would not be a lot of money - most of my guild mates call it a “free” boost lol…

it’s not the classic community. It’s retailers that want to ruin the game.

Hmmmm…

‘click-to-get-max-level’

oh wait,

hold up, is 58 the max in TBC ? Dam, thats gonna be easy to do!

Lost me here. Fresh TBC realms should NOT have boosts or transfers. Kinda defeats the whole point.

this character boost is a disaster

Please Blizzard just remove it, this has nothing to do with the classic experience

If the boost will be available on prepatch, they will have instant boost to 58 when everyone is 60, so its only a few hours away to max level with full dungeon blues, which even most newly-dinged 60s don’t have
If it will be available on release, they will be almost max level that can instantly hop into outlands to start botting right away.

So yeah, it is almost max level with no time or effort spent into the game, only using a credit card.

Still a good attempt to nitpick and troll though, we all knew you have no valid arguments anyway.

Hmm, now why would a mage not like a blizzard supported boost?

Listen, I dont care about your arguement, just like I dont care about the boost.

I’m excited to start my new draenei.

Enjoy shouting at the wind, see you in outland!

Out of interest, how the hell you get from fresh 58 to 60 in “a few hours” ?

Haha, thanks for proving my point once again. You have no valid arguments still and you play the “mage” card. Then you can maybe spend a minute to see that I have made posts/threads asking Blizzard to stop mage boosting in dungeons even in 2019.

Also, its funny that you spam the thread defending the boost which you don’t care about.

Quoting my earlier post once again so people that read can get a sip of fresh air cuz its so mind boggling down here.

Great post and I’m glad it activates a lot of people. Should get up on the US forum as well since Blizzard never read EU. Remove boosting or at least give the players that wants it a fresh server. Don’t force your retail services into the game just because you started to listen on some feedback regarding spellbatching and pre-nerf state of the game.

so many new players are using the payed boost and can’t afford anything because they have very little gold, so we are now introducing the wow token! Now you can pay real money for gold

It should be simple.
Level boost is not Classic!
It boggles my mind why anyone would support this?
Leveling is a crucial part of the game, and my best times in Classic was leveling.
All the time ive spent on my character is now a waste of time, because everyone just gets max level for money anyways.

This is a large assumption, nobody can know for sure that a token will find it’s way to classic.

I feel confident it wont, in fact I’d wager it wont happen. Blizz understands this big red line and know not to cross it.

The boost is different, it’s intended to get groups of friends into the same content, it doesnt provide much, you are meant to go play and earn stuff with the characters just the same as you would levelling.

Enjoy the expansion and stop worrying over things that haven’t happened and most likely wont happen.

Keep all topics related to the boost at the top to send a message to Blizzard

Yes they are known for reading EU forums.
