If you don’t have time to invest, then retail or Fortnite might be the game for you!
How do you know what I do or do not value?
I do play and enjoy retail. And I’m going to do the exact same thing with TBC. You are no better of a “gamer” than me just because you play classic - you know that right?
I play games as a hobby and break from real-world responsibility and then I want to maximize my time. Time is money, and 200 hours spent on grinding however much gold or leveling is not worth it compared to 200 hours of working my real-world job.
You might have disposable time to spend on wow, I don’t so I use my disposable income. You might not like it, but I don’t care to be honest.
Well a game designed around rewarding time investment shouldn’t suddenly be changed to those who don’t want to put time in. It’s not that complex. You said you play Retail, a game that already caters to players like you, so why do you insist Classic ALSO be changed for your own needs?
It’s just like me going to a Black Desert Online forum and demanding that they rework the grindy nature of the game because I don’t have time to invest in it.
It’s nonsense, why would I ever do that when I could just… not play the game if it doesn’t appeal to me? Why should the game change it’s nature to appeal to a new base of players when there’s already a large group of players who currently enjoy the game the way it is?
Your time is your time - spend it like your money - however the **** you want.
I wouldn’t dream of telling you how you should spend either YOUR time or your MONEY - neither should you try and dictate how I spend either of mine.
Your time spent on your character has no value of any sort or relevance to any one but you.
If you actually read my post It says I’m actively leveling 3 toons in readiness for TBC - which in itself implies I don’t have a toon 58 >
If you have to know - so you can waft your epeen about, I have a Lock @57 - waiting for my buddy to return on Sunday so we can hit 60 at the same time.
I have a 2nd Lock @30, a Priest @12, a 36 Lock Twink, I’m rep grinding on, a 29 Frost Mage Twink, I’ve run out of gold to fund.
Pretty sure I have various Banks alts knocking about too
Were did I list any demands? I’m just simply voicing my opinion so that it’s known to Blizzard - just like you are.
If TBC doesn’t appeal to you, then don’t play it. Stick to the regular classic experience.
I don’t think it’s bannable because that person is not entitled to be in your group, you can kick someone from your group for no reason if you like.
But you would dream of having the game changed to suit your fancy at the cost of others vision for the game so that YOU can spend YOUR money in the way that you like.
To you
Well in this case it’s more like Black Desert changing to a casual, grind-free game and then me coming in and telling all of the old dedicated BDO players who enjoyed the slow grind to just “deal with it or leave”.
Can I ask that the next crash bandicoot be exactly like the first just because its my preference, never mind all the current players who enjoy the current version.
Games change.
People change.
Times change.
The experience of vanilla wow that was enjoyed 15 years will never, ever happen again, it cannot be done, not with all the will and wishes in the world.
So yeah, deal with it.
It depends, is the next crash bandicoot a new game or DLC or is it a recreation of an old game?
Is it a remaster or remake?
Also, crash is a single player or co-op game, not an MMO game.
good argument. You people are really good at this. You make it easy but also tedious and boring.
To be honest I do t know what it is these days, after 3 I didnt like it. In fact even 3 was meh.
But my bigger point is, times have changed. We cannot ever have the experience of 2005. Ever.
I think many folks would argue against this, you roll a pvp server and well, ya get pvp!
It’s not an arguement it’s some advice.
My people? I dont have people!
Nothing boring about playing current content with a friend.
Automatically, no 2 ways about it, means that you don’t value the time you spent leveling your character.
But if we’re talking about countering modern players making the same game play very differently from how it did back in the day. Phase 2 wasn’t min maxed back in the day (the equivalent patch) with people farming for honour 24/7.
Those are the kind of changes I’m for.
Such a change for countering boosting I would be pro for is nerfing dungeon XP significantly as to make questing more efficient. I would also be pro nerfing how much XP a player gets whilst in a group with a high level player. I’m not for dungeon carries I just don’t think blizzard boosts are the solution and I think that they are even worse.
Well it’s bad advice then
People who are pro-boost
As in you make this discussion easy for me but also boring because there don’t seem to be any more good points being presented by the opposition that haven’t already been said and countered.
Huh? You literally proved my exact point LMAO. You have retail if you want the new shiny game with all your convenience cash shop needs.
The whole point of Classic was to go back to the older style of WoW, focus on long term time investment and meaningful social interaction. In other words, the goal of Classic to get as far away from what Retail has become by going back to the roots.
Same can be said to your people, the anti-boosters.
Edit; so far you’ve said you dont like it, and only 1 reasonable arguement against it which was bots getting easier access to TBC. Everything else is just your wishlist. Most of the not bothered arguments are simply that, they care more about enjoying the game than trying to ruin someone else enjoyment of the game.
So uh, what’s your argument? Apart from telling me I’m a sweatlord wafting my epeen.
To anyone defending the boosts, this video is all you need to see.
(idk how to embed it sorry)
Except it can’t because I’m not initiating discussion with someone by using arguments that have already been used and debated back and fourth previously in the thread. I’m the one having to reply to these people and repeat myself. They initiate it. Also, we don’t just use shallow one liners as our primary arguments as well as anecdotes.
