It’s your thread, you initiated it! Your demands of blizzard reversing a decision they’ve likely spent a long time and decent research over, is what started all of this discussion.
I’m mostly posting small replies as it’s not easy to link and quote via mobile.
You know that some players boost other players arena ratings for gold? Does that mean Blizzard should make arena-rating-boosts available for real money?
Ok so I create thread and initiate discussion. Then someone replies, I counter their points, they counter mine, I counter there’s until someone runs out of ideas. I feel it is then everyone else’s obligation to either continue or simply like points that have already been made rather than address me directly and repeat what others have said, compelling me to respond because if I don’t, it appears that I have forfeited the debate.
They don’t have to but then I don’t have to hold my frustration at them
You know nothing Jon Snow.
You are in the side of newgen zoomers that game publishers milk for some quick cash, that buys every paid service then leaves after a few weeks to hop onto another game.
I have made a list of possible outcomes of boosting on another thread but since yesterday Activision is deleting a lot of my posts, and some of these salty nerds keep flagging them (which has absolutely no bad words/flaming whatsoever) We have literal disgusting creatures down here in the forums.
Anyways, take it as another contribution and let’s hope it doesn’t get deleted this time:
So to summarize briefly, boosting will:
Help bots start profitting earlier and create an influx of new botters.
Devaluate the time and effort that other players put into levelling new characters.
Devaluate profession mats because people can boost alch/tailor alts to make transmute alts.
Skew faction balance more, especially in horde dominated servers, as many guilds can now change factions easier.
Fill the game with more fotm classes and specs, like hunters and warlocks.
Make the community a lot more toxic, since a lot of unexperienced/new players will be in pug groups, causing issues and everyone will start calling others out for being “boosted”.
What are you talking about?
I was stating that there will be additional whinners for boosts when the realise they can’t boost the new races.
RaF is a better solution and should be implemented instead.
But they won’t be whining to remove boosts, just to loosen the restrictions
I agree
It sounded as if the whiners was me + those who agree and that we don’t understand that u can’t boost draenei and belves which would make the boost bad (whereas we know that already and think the boost is bad regardless).
If this is not the case then I apologise but you should phrase your statement more clearly to avoid confusion in the future.
