Why the level 58 boost is bad for the game #stoptheboost

Ok im with you on that …but blizzard is not selling that so? i can’t help you with that
i still wants boost cause i dont like leveling i just wants to blast end game
THE END of the story
you will not stop blizz…but you can try chief

Lvling 12 lvls more doable then lvling 70 lvls. That and the Barrens are for Horde Charakters really a make or break point.

So it’s better because it’s faster?

of course you are ‘‘with me’’ on that because we all know your lot would happily have p2w for everything.

Thanks for proving what I’ve been saying to others.

This the ‘‘foot in the door’’

You’re playing the wrong game if you want fast

At its core freedom of movement is basically inside the word, you are free of your movements unless it impacts other’s people(most notably walking on a private property and harming people). It has nothing to do with europe, the moon or planet mars. What you’re talking about are just treaties signed by several european countries to expand it.
" Article 13 of the [Universal Declaration of Human Rights]:

  • “Everyone has the right to freedom of movement and residence within the borders of each state.”
  • “Everyone has the right to leave any country, including his own, and to return to his country.”
    First paragraph of wikipedia.

I did answer your question in a way that could make you use your brain. Just read one more time it is not hard to link the two and conclude, really.

You want to keep it civil yet you cannot even research the significance of the terms you use nor correctly read the answer people provided. So no, you are not keeping it civil, you are just a rude being that does not respect other people thought. Being courteous is not just avoiding slurs.
I will read your next post if there is one, but if it’s gonna be just as poor I won’t reply to it, I hope you’ll understand why, whether it’s now or later.

Which is precisely as I described it. Nowhere does it say "Everyone has the right to two feet of personal body space in the streets of towns and cities’, which was your original definition.

The rest is basically just a bunch more insults, and you have still not answered the question.

I’ll give you one final opportunity to answer the question, and you are free to restrict your answer to a simple yes or no. Evading it and avoiding it by using long-winded obfuscation in attempts to get me to answer it for you are not going to work.

Will the three scenarios I listed earlier harm other players? Yes or no?

What does this have to do with a videogame?
Some welcome to boost, some don’t.
An atempt force your opinion on the 58 boost won’t change their stand on it.

But good luck trying.

you just need to understand that classic and TBC is just walk in the park to see dinosaurs
of course i like to skip bad designed things in old expansion because it was trash even when it was current for example leveling new character to play end game was always bad
so if i can skip it and play end game i will pay for it
for me TBC release is not like REAL GAME release they just wants to show how it was before

Funny how you intend to get out your credit card and pay a load of cash to win a video game you regard as ‘trash’.

May I suggest bidding 200 Euros on Ebay for a copy of Ride to Hell Retribution? I promise you they’ll love you forever.

Oh my, assumptions and lies in 1 sentence lol!

Again, can you just stop with the ‘win’ word, there is no ‘win’ from taking the boost. In your opinion maybe but your opinion on the matter is not fact.

You’re not simply paying for a lvl 58, you’re paying to skip the leveling process of that toon.
There’s no other way to skip leveling in the game so, by your own definition, the level boost is in fact pay to win.
Thanks for clearing that up for us.

I’ve put the timer. Perfectly explains why the boost shouldn’t be in the game.

But I guess pro-boosters will stick to their “I want it so it’s fine mentality”. And counter with “yOu’Re tHe OnE wHo DoN’t WaNt It LmAo” as I’ve seen countless times, because they can’t understand the difference between thinking about what’s good for the game undependently of oneself and what people desire on the personal level.

Dont be so naive my young dwarf. People skip the levelling process every day.

No my friend i just want to skip the TRASH part of this game and that’s lvling im end game player i don’t care about story in old zone …or Quests or 20000 hours of drinking my mana

Lol people are still writing wall of texts on this matter xD
Look, Blizzard will make boosts available because it will bring them more money. It is a bussiness and nobody cares about your ‘‘classic experience’’. Also most of you will still continue to play this game even when they implement boosts so why wouldnt blizzard add them? They get a new source to earn more money and there wont be any ‘‘riot’’ (you know, stop paying money to a greedy company but none of you will xD) so stop whining.

@Martel: You missed (or intentionally disregarded) this part:

“Reaching level 58 without paying anything on top of the subscription fee is possible, so certain part of the player base views it as not pay to win. If different parties are not able to agree on what actually constitutes as pay to win, we get the kind of tug of wars these thread lead to. :frowning:

In other words, not buying a boost does not make reaching level 58 impossible / put reaching level 58 behind a paywall (if we exclude the need to pay for game time, which is required regardless of the method of reaching level 58).

You’re paying to skip the leveling process. There’s no other way to skip the leveling process than by paying.
Yes you can reach 58 without paying but you can’t reach 58 instantly without paying. Understand the subtle nuance?

Everyone knows what makes pay to win, it’s common sense. The fact that what you’re paying for is or isn’t obtainable by other means is irrelevant.
Pay to win is when a game allows you to pay for a short cut, end of.
And paying for a level boost is clearly paying for a short cut.

Pay to win is a problem because it creates an unfair playing field. For example, players with more money will be able to pay for several accounts with instant 58s for all their crafting CD needs.
Without the boost they’d have to level all those alts to 50. Most wouldn’t bother.

So everytime I buy manapots at the AH it’s pay to win too?
As I didnt farm the herbs and crafted the potions myself? I took a shortcut to get them? Even tho I’m 300 alch/herbs.

Everytime I fly to Feralas is pay to win? As I didnt walk all the way down cuz I took a shortcut?

Sad that you can’t make the difference between in-game money and real-life money.
