Wow Classic Anniversary is unplayable

exactly this! They added 10x the players while they didnt increase the respawn… they are either stupid monkeys or do this on purpose… regardless the reason behind this, Ion we are not coming to retail …

Blizzard didn’t expect people to be that stubborn to not go somewhere else and do something else

To ease the questing in high populated areas blizz should implement hyper spawn as in hardcore servers. In Hardcore you would see it a lot, especially with quest named mobs such as Gazzuz or Fizzle, you kill one, it spawns in the next 5 sec (which is annoying for HC as it might get u killed), but here there is no such thing… Same goes for ordinary quest mobs…

Most problems is caused by bots I would say. If they are farming the same mobs needed for quests it will be a problem as 2-3 bots can drain most of available mobs on a layer.

Few days ago farming devilsaurs I started looking at people and noticed how many are bots and it’s super clearly visible.

No…they arnt. Bots dont farm questmobs. That would be stupid,as it put them in broad daylight.

in Ungoro they tend to farm pterodax/plants so quest mobs  Not to mention humanoids for cloth that are also quest mobs (1k needles centaur for example).

Few days ago when I went to Ungoro for devilsaurs most “players” there were bots. 2 of them locked by King Mosh spawn which they did not avoid/detect

Rofl. As opposed to how they sneaky they go around at the moment, yeah?

I just locked in on the pvp realm for the first time after launch and the boosting situation is just so unreal. LFG is getting spammed with boostings. Why do people play like that?

Because they can’t cope with not being 60 week one and starting raiding instantly. That’s Classic playerbase in a nutshell  people can’t cope they won’t get gear instantly and that they won’t have bis for every raid tier.

I have a wild guess - because the open world is unplayable due to overcrowded zones?

Just happened to me - i woke up too early and couldn’t sleep so i logged in and did some questing in STV between 5-6 am. The game felt like i was playing outside of prime time 5 years ago. I could complete quests and find most mobs pretty well. Some mobs i had to camp due to competition, even at those hours.

What i noticed, however, was that even though i was the only one killing some mobs for like 20-30 mins their respawn timer was very slow and that’s seems to be the real problem here.

To be fair - i did the STV horde quests on Sunday and had no issues with ganking. I killed a few mage bots but in the most part it seemed OK. Maybe I just got lucky.

the reason is simple, if you run arround after 35 and try to do quests, you will notice that there are no monsters to kill, and changing zones doesnt solve the problem, because everywhere is the same. Its not fun trying to do one quest for 2,5h (yes 2,5h) because there is nothing arround to kill. People saying otherwise havent tried to quest for the past 2 weeks.

ya i agree. i am 34 now and about to give up. it’s not even prime time and questing is nearly impossible. i would consider just grinding exp, but same here - every good spot is contested. maybe i can find a spot somewhere in the shadow, but fun is something else.

Ppl complain because this version of the game wasn’t designed for this many people.

The density of everything from mobs to gathering materials was not created for this amount of people.

You can’t understand that?

I‘m leveling resto shaman up to 40 then buy dual spec and make a break. maybe level an alt. In a few months I‘ll be playing again and start prep for TBC:)

Era breaks the cycle. Exception among WoW servers.

Yes, yesterday I started in STV to do the Zanzil mixture quest, so many people in both location. About halfway in I got so bored of waiting and fighting for every single mob I logged off. Came back 2,5 hours later, it was just as bad. A quest that shoud take 15 min, took more than 1 hour. Figured I had enough of STV and relocated to Badlands.

When I ran in I saw the dwarfs outside was all dead or engaged, but no matter I had other quests to do too. Going for the quest Murdalock, the mob took 15 min to spawn and then some horde snagged him. 3-4 people there all the time, I managed to finally get the Murdalock quest done, but still only had 4/10 flakes so I gav eup on that. Killed a few coyotes and buzzards on my way back to check on Uldaman entrance again. Still not a mob, ok I go inside and kill the dwarfs inside. But nope, not a single dwarf there either exept a boss dwarf. Ran around for 15 min, never saw a single dwarf not engaged.

Fine I finish my Badlands reagents run, killed a few more coyotes and Buzzards on my way over to the stone elementals, picked up the first quest. I didn’t get a single kill as there was like 5 people ther. Tried going to the nearby buzzard place, but everything was dead there too. This was at 2 in the morning. I logged off and went to bed in pure frustration.

And this is not a specially bad luck day, it’s like this every day. 35-45 all horus of the day whter is’ mornings in a school day, afternoon, evening or 4 am, all places from 35-45 are overpopulated all the time. Blizzard please makes more layers this is unplayable. I love classic and seeing people inthe world, but not this many everywhere. I’ve been playing this game since 2005 and consider quitting if you don’t get your stuff together and fix layering.

Mended for you. We, the players - or most of us - DO understand this.

not just more layers, they need to be smaller too.
this problem continues on 60, good luck farming stuff.
