If i wanna play Alliance on the Era, which Realm Cluster should i join?
I rly wanna come back to Era now.
Firemaw cluster for PvP
Pyrewood Village cluster for PvE

I made my character, looking to get back in touch with just Azeroth & the classic version of the game I loved.
I made my character on Firemaw, I joined . Last night we had 100+ people online levelling & we have over 450 on the guild.
The levelling areas were very popular.
Fantastic to see.

a big no from me. You will have two choices:
roll alliance, lose 90% of your games and slowly creep up on a small server that manages brackets with no PVE gear; or
roll horde on a big server, win 90% of your games and try to grind out 200k+ Honor per week until R10, then 400k+ to rank further
if you choose 1 it will take about 6months to get R12+ if you choose 2 it will be quicker but you will play 24/7 and at R11+ you will also compete in carrying around sandbags in Silithus
PVP battlegrounds are completely dominated by R14/Naxx geared players. it is a complete waste of time to start this from lvl1, it will take you years to ever become close to useful. be warned
that is really bad advice and not even close to the reality of todays ERA BGs

There are plenty of druids that know all the jumps that have trash gear. Easygirl on his horde char runs naked. Boomchicken has exactly what I described. Huahihi in blues lol. Illmatics the same. Should I continue?
If you are PvP optimized with engineering, bring consumes to bgs, have a PvP-optimized amount of gear from ZG/MC/BWL, and STILL cannot be close to being useful by your own definition, then by my own definition you would 100% still be useless with Naxx gear.
And to say that fullfiling the conditions I describe above would take years on Era⌠lol

dont listen to this. you will spend a year gearing up, get into a BG and still get destroyed. Easygirls , Illmatics burn consumes at a rate no normal player can and still need their team to get things done. The idea that anyone runs solo and naked and is viable is complete garbage
Having said that there are always sweaty players that come as superheroes and carry a flag. the problem is that it is not longer a team game. No FC can tank through the amount of dmg that is in the game now. All those you describe have become good at kiting and dodging damage altogether. And all of them still get one-shot by Horde Shamans in T2.5+
i understand you believe you have to be the cheerleader for a broken pvp system but for new players it will be a nightmare, once they hit 60 that is. no BGs before that

I do have a horde mage with 700+SP that is capable of one shotting people. Still, I do play most of my pvp on my ally mage in blues with 3.5k hp and 180SP. Why? I enjoy the challenge.
So even though we seem to be on the same page this time, I would suggest you go play retail or wotlk mate. You are probably one patch away in both from the âprogression resetâ.

you give yourself too much credit. and you are way too much in Awe of those âsuper good pvp playersâ. it is mainly consumables that get them across the field plus jumps (which i DO consider skill).
as to yourself bragging about your horde mage and just giving it up for us mortals to do us a favour: i can only say all your incarnations i have seen are cannonfodder. you are not really a PVP player imo. as far as i can tell you dont know any jumps, you cant kill anyone and you are a nuisance at best with ice block, ice nova and blink
also you keep missing my point. There is no NAxx gear for an FC. FCing is all about avoiding damage altogether, thats why mages with iceblock, blink, engi and consumes are so good at it. it also means that it is not any more a team game since the rest of the lineup is simply about killing each other fast enough, and gear rules this race.
hard to see why you fight this point so hard. it is obvious to anyone who has ever set foot into a BG with blue gear lol

It will indeed feel pretty classic and fresh since the influx of new players is making our leveling zones super lively. Barrens & Elwynn Forest now have consistently 50+ players and groups for low level dungeons are constantly popping.
This weekend we just had the AV bonus week and got up to 4 AVs running simultaneously on Friday, and AVs running on Saturday and Sunday, which for AV lovers is super good news.

I backk to firemaw horde side when i heard the population is on medium state, but idk tchat is desert, no lfg, some people leveling but its isnt enough to enjoy classic again. I hope the end of SoM will change it.
Checking the Barrens right now and we have 50+ people on horde on Firemaw. Same goes with Elwynn Forest in the Alliance.
Maybe you have not chosen the right realm mate - Make sure it is Firemaw or Pyrewood village under the Classic Era tab.
Your statement about how the leveling zones and chat are can only mean 2 things: a. you logged in at super off times or b. you did not choose the right realm.
If its the first, log in in the evenings to confirm what I am saying here or if its the latter, make sure to choose the right server tab.

Iâm playing on Firemaw server no matter if its 50 people nobody using chat or there is some hidden chat ? cause nobody using /1 General or at least 2-3 LFG that all .
be sure to right clikc your chat, delete all the global channels and click new ones. there is sometimes a language thing. also, map â/join LookingForGroupâ chat. its hte most active

As a player who has recently jumped back into and has done 4-5 hours of BGs a day, this is completely not true. BGs are full of characters with a mix of gear, Iâm a mix of tier 1/2 and have had a lot of success in BGs.
