I would love if these announcements could include a list of changes (if there are any).
Even if it’s just backend changes that will not affect users, just saying so would be a lot more transparent.

I am not sure if the maintenance happened or not. From my end it would seem the forum stayed active.

It was an illusion! What are they hiding? 
Think it’d be fair to point out how I had a pretty big issue and wouldn’t be able to log (on forum) any character I wasn’t already logged in as, and as I was hoping (but against what I was thinking) this maintenance seems to have solved it, was able to log in and change characters now. And this bug was only EU for me, US worked fine and I don’t even play in US!
