WoW lost half it's subs

You’re clearly [playing a different game from everyone else if you actually think farming everything to death is a fun thing to do…

But… Your mind is made up and no amount of evidence to the contrary will change it. Good luck running the same thing again and again and again and again in the slim hope that sweet sweet piece will drop, and then you repeat it again and again and again.

THAT’S the system you really want to put everyone through?

Losing half of the subs after the initial peak is normal now. What’s more important is that 9.1 is so far away and what we have now is so thin and, well, I’ll say it, terrible – that the game will nearly certainly continue losing players and will likely lose more than would be considered normal.

SL is beating BFA on the scale of bad so far.

Apart from CN is Scaled to a Point where alot of guilds will have to rely on overgearing it.

Also thats if u only Want to Kill Heroic… if ur looking into doing M+15s for the mount u will have to progress beyond Heroic to accomplish that.

u forget this.

WoW retail has more avenues of Progression then just raiding and a Wide range of rewards that award u.

Ur argument lacks Aknowledgement on M+ as a System, something that keeps weeks worth of spamming realistically.

and soon to give 220 gear it’ll make it better then heroic raid rewards.

although valor system needs some tweaking which it’ll hopefully get.

up to the gear wall of 200… After that the game has nothing to offer.

Try to get into a guild HC raid and tell them that you need 4 weeks to reach 210 and get your conduits upgraded to a not laughable level.

There is literaly no way for friends or newcomers to catch up because they still wont have us proper loot. Valor wont fix anything, since it is capped.

Since it is capped and the cap is low and the upgrade prices are damn high comparably and the upgrades don’t even go to 226 and stop earlier and this all doesn’t even apply to the current gear, you have to farm new one.

Valor, as it stands in 9.0.5, is dead on arrival.

Exactly!

I’m asking myself what more has 9.0.5 to offer? They could have gave us uncapped cheap 226 valor. It would have been so much fun to gear the alts, shred through nathria till 9.1 and feel overpowered for at least one month or two till 9.1 arrives.

It is like they have a weekly pitch on who ignores the community best and introduces the most unfun system.

Many bought 6 month sub so I bet its more like 60-70% who quit the game.

Impressive to see it die so fast, especially during lockdowns 0.0

I’m having fun. Guide to having fun - make ingame friends, get on disc, read less forums, profit.

So much this honestly and I’m not saying that the state of the game isn’t bad but if you read the forums to much on the negative stuff you might quit too.

They went to appease the elitist streamer and PVP audience over casuals. Yet failed to make PVP even remotely balanced in any of its modes.

I could write pages about what is wrong with this expansion, but I’m not for my sake or yours, plus plenty of people have covered the big ones above.

I will say this, my hardcore M+ focused DH playing friend and equally focused pally tank could care less about SLs. They log in randomly, but that’s about it. In BFA they were crazy into M+ and pushed very high keys all the time. Myself? Moderate lvl casual, but I am also unhappy with the game and log in a lot less often than i did during BFA.

Yeah but that’s not going to grab anyone’s attention or get views for your youtube channel. We must become doomsayers!!!

Good news for those of us who stayed but are unsatisfied with many things. Hopefully Blizzard will now do something to make us happy and prevent a slide that would look bad for shareholders.

My money is on pre-9.0.5 gear being able to work with valor points after all. They literally did this exact thing with the corruption vendor, so we know they can.

It’s not doom necessarily. It’s consequenses of the real doom.

I saw it coming.

Seeing as the context was lost I’ll quote what I was replying to:-

edit - just realised it was in my original reply. Oh well :woman_shrugging:t4:

Some always want this game to be dying, there is always doomsaying, I’ve been hearing how it’s been dying or is about to die since TBC.

Nothing of value was lost. Even blizz knows themselves this happens every expac and patch, people who play story and then quit until next content update. There are still just as many people who actually do other things.

cause besides keystone master achievement m+ scene has been the same since legion. its unbelievably boring. once you time 15s theres no reason to do m+ anymore. Blizzard has to finally acknowledge that pursuit after ilvl which is nullified with every patch is a wrong approach to keep people interested.

There will be a surge in numbers with the next patch (9.1) and then it will drop again. It’s the same old cycle we are all used to by now.
