Hey there,
So without beating around the bush, I wanted to be so forward as to keep a public list of communities, and Blizzard groups to an extent, of AD and how to join them. The intention of this list is to aid said communities in growing by making them more visible.
What’s a community?
Communities are a feature that combine guild-like organisatory features with traditional chat program features. They also work cross-realm! You can join one or more communities with a single character (and blizzard groups with your battletag) to facilitate the organization of RP groups, raiding groups or farming groups that don’t merit a dedicated guild but are still very important to you!
You can join as many communities as you like. As community (or blizzard group) leader, you are able to promote moderators to keep your community a top notch environment for all intents and purposes you intended for!
Due to their nature, Communities only work for characters on their respective faction whereas blizzard groups are accessible via all of your characters and even outside of the game client!
Most importantly, you can generate calendar events targeted at a community of your liking, facilitating the organization of i.e. class-only RP events![/quote]
