Does that DXDIAG log show the driver version you updated to, or was the log created after you had already reverted to older drivers?
If it is the latter, meaning you had a more recent driver than v442.74 installed at the time issues occurred: there have been numerous reports of trouble with the 445.xx series of drivers across multiple games. It’d not be unlikely that they also caused the flickering you described.
Same here.
Today I bought new Graphics Card (RTX 2060) and had a fresh driver install, updated to latest one and it’s CRAZY with character assets flickering on select screen and in certain places in game (like Suramar rooftops, sometimes sky too).
It’s suuuuuuuper annoying and it started happening after two latest GeForce Drivers.
Note: I had GeForce 1050 Ti with latest drivers before that, same issue.
And yep, the issue is with the 445.xx driver. Before that it was fine.
Experiencing the same flickering. On the character screen and also in the game, mostly in characters tab, black/flickering hair etc. I have Geforce GTX 1070 Ti with latest drivers 445.87. You need to know this is happening only with DX12 settings, swiching back to DX11 fix the problem.
People reporting flickering that looks just like this when using DX12 with Monster Hunter on 445.87, though the latest drivers is actually 445.98 which is a hotfix driver and does not show up on GFE, have you guys tried 445.98 yet :o?
Can we have an official statement about this issue? I’m forced to use DX11 becouse of that. Does Nvidia know’s or been informed what their latest drivers do to the game?
New driver is up 446.14 and WoW is still flickering in DX12 mode. Mostly on the character select screen but also ocasionally in game. Hair, weapon etc. I have Geforce RTX 2070 SUPER.
Found this on the US forums. Hope this is going to be fixed becouse right now I’m forced to use DX11.
