You need to speak to a GM via live chat, screen shot all emails and login pages to show them what it says too.
Nothing can be done via the forums unfortunately.
The fact you have two different dates is weird though.

How is this possible to speak via live chat? I’ve opened tickets but as I’m rather new to appealing anything in the years I’ve played, I’m rather clueless.
Me and my husband are at home with our dog, we also are dog sitting for family so we got another dog staying over. We do deep fried foods, have some beers, play games (wow, gw2 or swtor depending what the gang wants) with our friends (we got group of friends/family playing same games together for more than decade now… mmorpgs are our shared living room).
You really should contact them and ask what’s going on. I doubt your dads playing matters in this case, because if you were sitting next to him there is no way for them to even know who was on keyboard. There is no other way to find out by asking them, everything else is just guessing. I really hope your issue gets solved.
Sounds good to me!
And as i told you in another thread you are wrong not all bans are warranted but you know that and just here to bait .
All help is appreciated by the way, scuppers my exciting NYE plans this does.
Hey man keep your chin up things might work out for you they may review your ticket better and revert the ban have hope and don’t let this ruin your new years Eve experience .
Haha, true. Wait the baby is in bed and girlfriend has tired out then play WoW from midnight till 4amish… thrilled but thus is parental life!
Oh awesome you are married well I wish happy new year to you and your family I still haven’t found my significant other sadly yet but I will, they used to call me Mr friendzone hahaha .
Not married, so far, but close enough. Ah man, good things come to those who wait, as the saying goes.
It might take a while to get a suspension, like with the account sharing a while back, they really do investigate 1st, might take a while.
you can appeal your suspension here:

If that doesnt work, try opening a ticket here:

There has recently been a ban wave.
Keep telling that to yourself. You might believe it the first couple of times. But if it keeps happening, you do something wrong regardless.
Exactly the same as you . You bring nothing to the thread just here to flame and bait . Moderation on the forum needs looking at by humans .
Myself and a few others have nothing to appeal Haha. I appealed and got a result saying my account has no penalties and is fine for play.
I have a feeling that an automated system might have thrown a booboo here.

Try filling a ticket here, a GM will look at it, just say that you have been suspended and the appeal system says that you dont have any suspensions.
Ive seen a few people saying that it also shows they dont have any suspensions. so id give the ticket a try? Good Luck though!
It seems those bans are Classic related and the op plays classic I think.
Daestra, this is one of those situations where a human moderator should step in to say walk away and cool down before something is said that leads to a silly ban
It’s NYE and we should be prepping for party hour not bickering
Unless you streamed, or advertised it - then no it is not why ban occurred.
When new IP is found, 1st what happens is account gets locked. It is security measure and actually a good one. They keep track of your ‘isp’ and i.e. if you log on using different isp-ip your account gets locked.
And when you change countries, they have certain time limitation for auto flag to set in.
But debating on forums is useless in sense that any ban or issue is best resolved contacting Blizz-team. I have had my own unique and less unique cases and 100% dialogue is best course of action.
I have one very unique set up with one of my accounts that has tragic irl related history and I keep it for sentimental value and for me to be able to use it, i needed to tell Blizzard the story (and I think they even checked for old IP and login history to verify it). Interaction with Blizzy is a key.
1st you should find out the fine detail as of why - they are willing to explain, when asked. Most cases. And when their explanation is something you completely disagree with (i.e. false positive) ask them to review your case.
Quite a few people in the same boat.
If i understood correctly - a ban wave was sent out. If anyone got false positive or explanation was not clear enough, either send e-mail or ticket to get more information.
I ponder what this wave was about though ?
