Should Alterac Valley be deleted?

We all know Alterac Valley in it’s current state is a sad excuse for a BG. Alliance win percentage is less then 10% mainly because off the imbalanced terrain. Another big problem is that you’re lucky if less then half off the squad is not a bot or a semi-afk leecher! Either Blizzard adresses this imbalance and actively hunts down bots and starts handing out pvp bans to afk-leechers or they take the lazy route and just delete Alterac Valley. Simply Alterac Valley

Now this is probably not new; but there’s no way AV was like this back in vanilla. This was my ‘main’ back then and she was Human ally. Win rate favoured ally…not by much but for sure I know I won more than I lost. Now? Well I have a lvl 60 Mage doing AV and I’ve won 1 from maybe 15? Suggestion to changes in Alterac Valley

I think we all can agree that something needs to be done to the AV meta, as today i have a 5% winrate in it. Blizzard is making some changes in the PTR and i want to suggest a small change that can help for the alliance. The alliance have a issue where lvl 52 to 59 is killing harpies in the harpy cave, not for the quest but for experience, reputation and honor. My suggestion is to remove experience gain in battleground, as i presume that battlegrounds are not meant to lvling in. Correct me if …

Alterac Valley - Imbalanced in favour of Horde?

Look at the HKs difference (listed by most HKs). Almost ALL Alliance. This is not due to Alliance players AFKing, again you would not have this numbers and so many allys toping the HKs. The current iteration of AV favours Horde, I think this is quite clear. If it was gear difference / participation, again, HKs would show it. AV situation is unplayable as alliance

The situation in Alterac Valley for the Alliance is unplayable. In pug v pug games in other bgs the win rate is fairly even, Alterac Valley on the other hand has been 95% losses for the Alliance. People can argue about the reasons for this, but this is clearly not functioning as intended. The map has to be changed to even the victory chances for Alliance. Alliance have to premade in Alterac Valley or lose majority of their games It’s a simple statement really and so far, it does hold some truth to it. I have been a BG leader for some time. From the private servers I played WOTLK and TBC on, to now - in wow classic.
