Suggestion to fix the rating system in shuffle

Seeing as how people keep complaining about rating gains/losses/not moving at all, I’ll just place it in its own thread.

It depends on how the maximum and minimum amounts would look like, but that’s a small task to figure out for Blizzard. They just seem lost while not knowing what rating system to use in shuffle, so this is a suggestion to fix it once and for all, conceptually speaking.

What Blizzard would need to verify would be the impact on inflation and deflation, but as mentioned, those are small tasks to figure out for Blizzard.

But for you players:
Wouldn’t you like to know you’d always gain rating if you won at least 4 rounds in a shuffle? Downside would be that 3 wins would more often than not result in Rating unchanged, but depending on the maximums and minimums that can sometimes end up with a very small plus in rating as well, depending on MMR differences and your own rating.

It’d also get rid of losing huge amounts of rating when you only won 2 rounds, and so on. It needs to be slowed down and become more reliable, for everyone’s sake. This current system Blizzard is using now isn’t viable in the long run for the shuffle game mode, as you all should’ve noticed by now.
