This is getting ridiculous, im clearing the raid since week 1 on my main and so far,i won 0 rolls (i’m also trying not to be a douche and rolling only on those items i actually need).
But it is nearly impossible to win anything, if you clear a normal raid on your alts, you see 480+ people joining, needing on everything, then selling it to people, who is ready to buy. Need a trinket? Sure,150k and its yours. Want HC Fyrrak trinket? Please,1.5 mln, who’s willing to pay?
With personal loot,you could …
I wanted to take a moment to share some thoughts and observations about our current loot distribution system, particularly the roll system employed in our raids.
While the roll system has been a staple in our loot distribution strategy, it’s become increasingly evident that its inherent randomness can lead to a sense of unfairness among our members. The unpredictable nature of rolls may result in crucial items going to players who might not urgently need them, leaving others who genuinely requi…
Considering those replies, there is nothing i would want to discuss furthermore. As stated above, I’d appreciate a wider spectrum for looting rules in general. The game would benefit. More options are always welcome.
Wishing you a nice season start. Xoxo
I am against this system “Need before Greed” and I would wish for Personal Loot to be reintroduced, as many people are still being too disadvantaged and others struggle to follow loot rules, as most people roll Need before Greed on everything in Normal or Heroic mode and equip themselves, which I think is not fair. I have no problem if there are other opinions, but I think one should reconsider why they play WoW and that it is not a competition but a multiplayer game.
Those who rediscover this …
Everybody and their whole family and friends and pets, press Need on everything. Why do we have the greed and transmog option?
I dont think anyone won a single piece of item im pug raids or lfr ,with greed and transmog
Its a failure of this loot system that was shoved down our throaths
I remember well on Personal Loot, more often than not, people rolling the items that they didnt need with the raid. Now everybody presses need and leaves the group, regardless if they need or not
Is this the super…
Hello,
I write here following the suggestion of a support request.
There is a known loot bug exploit (with group loot mode) that consists to kick people while doing a raid boss. The amount of loots from the boss will remain the same but the people removed from the group cannot roll on the item and are still tagged on the boss kill. This means same number but for fewer people.
There has been more and more abuse like this recently with leader kicking all the persons who could roll on the trinke…
There are currently no rules against it but this is a side effect of cross realm trading being enabled.
You aren’t allowed to name and shame on the forums this would only get you into trouble. I have seen people sell items off too. People just need on everything they can. I would personally welcome a return to Personal Loot. However that won’t stop times being auctioned off to the highest bidder ofc.
Fix Personal Loot First
If I shouldn’t be able to need on items which aren’t upgrades, then PL shouldn’t award duplicates like it does in M+.
And they said personal loot was bad…
At least you could trade that. And things actually dropped…things for the classes in your raid.
Combined with extra rolls,it was the best system.
Please alter how it works…
Disable NEED if it’s not an upgrade. [Prevent people with 460 gear needing on 395 stuff, example].
TRANSMOG disabled if it’s already unlocked.
Greed for everything else.
Honestly getting tired of greedy sods hitting NEED on everything they can just to vendor it…
Or bring back Personal Loot…
This are just a few topics over the last weeks, I cba searching further and theres another bazillion on US forums of people complaining about how horrible and toxic Group Loot is
Raid leaders kicking players at fyrakk 5% rofl , imagine saying this is the “superior loot” system
Hahaha just lol.
Guys, give it a rest. Cya.
